Before I get started going through the statistics of the Anchorage residential real estate market (including Girdwood an Eagle River) I want to discuss what numbers and data don't tell us. The data doesn't tell us the tale of two markets
Market A: Homes that are priced right, easy to show, have all the financing options buyers are looking for, and show well.
Market B: Overpriced and buyers don't see it as a deal and in every market every buyer is looking for a deal, hard to show because the seller wants to change the showing time or they are present during the showing, only cash and conventional financing, does not show well because it's dirty or decorated poorly.
